AWANA

AWANA Clubs International began in 1950 and was begun at CBC in 1979. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls for Christ and train them to serve Him. The AWANA program is distinctively Christian and Bible-centered. AWANA does not exclude kids based on their religious affiliation. The club meetings are open to all.

The club meetings are composed of three segments:

1. Game Time, featuring individual and team competition;
2. Handbook Time, including memorization and understanding of key Bible verses with rewards;
3. Council Time, where the entire club gathers for a Bible message, singing, announcements and presentation of awards for individual handbook progress and team competition.

At CBC, AWANA meets on Wednesdays, September through May, from 6:15 - 8:00 p.m., for children 2 years old (by September 1st) through 6th grade. For more information about AWANA, go to www.AWANA.org
