Fred Sterrett

Fred became a member of Christ Bible Church in 1962 and has served as a deacon for approximately 30 years. Fred married Louise in 1957; they have 3 sons, 2 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

What I enjoy about serving at CBC ..."knowing that I'm serving the Lord and it is pleasing to Him."

Unusual Fact ... "I have never operated a computer."

Interesting Fact … “All of my children are Christians, which is a credit to the diligence of my wife and the grace of God.”

My relationship with Jesus ... "began as a child. I was born into a Christian home and blessed with a Christian father who was a man of convictions. I remember well the day that I gave my life to Jesus. I have been so blessed all of my life."

My favorite Scripture ... "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5, 6)

My favorite musical group ... "The Gaithers"

On a Saturday afternoon my favorite thing to do ... "is woodworking. When I was 25 years old, I built the house my wife and I live in today."
